Company Description Engagement details • Duration: 4–6 week initial contract (leave coverage), with a possibility of extension • Hours: 30–40 hrs/week • Schedule: Regular EST hours required, but fully remote from anywhere in the US • Location: Remote • Start: ASAP • Pay rate: $48–58/hr Job Description About the project A full-service marketing agency is looking for an experienced freelance Media Buyer/Planner to cover a team member's leave. You'll join the media team and report to a senior media lead. You'll manage day-to-day planning, buying and reporting across a portfolio of higher education, secondary education and nonprofit clients. This is a hands-on role for someone who can plug in quickly and keep campaigns running smoothly. What you'll do • Build, launch and optimize multi-channel campaigns across search, display, pre-roll, social and traditional media, working directly in platforms or through vendors • Develop and adjust media plans for small to mid-sized budgets, in partnership with senior media staff • Handle buying, trafficking, campaign setup, QA and billing, with accurate tracking and documentation • Prepare performance reports with clear insights and optimization recommendations • Coordinate with vendors on placements and pricing to maximize client value • Support account teams with media recommendations and research as needed Qualifications What you bring • 2–4 years of hands-on media buying and planning experience, ideally agency-side • Experience with Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing) Ads, Google Marketing Platform (DV360, SA360, Campaign Manager) and ad-serving tools • Experience across paid search, paid social, programmatic and online video • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and shifting priorities • Clear written and verbal communication • Comfortable getting up to speed quickly on new accounts, tools and processes Nice to have • Experience with higher education, secondary education or nonprofit clients • Regional/local media planning and buying knowledge, particularly in Upstate New York Additional Information We Are Rosie provides strategic consulting and talent solutions for the marketing industry.
