Job Summary: Sports Information Student workers assist with game day operations, live broadcasts, statistics, writing, photography, social media, and other media-related responsibilities while helping showcase Aggie Athletics. This position provides valuable real-world experience for students interested in sports communications, broadcasting, marketing, journalism, and athletic administration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Producing live game broadcasts, including camera operation, graphics, and play-by-play support • Inputting and calling live statistics • Public address announcing • Play-by-play announcing and color commentary for livestreams on MACTV and DVUSN (please contact us directly if you are interested in becoming a play-by-play announcer) • Conduct interviews with coaches and athletes • Playing in-venue music during games • Capturing live-action photography and producing photo galleries • Writing game previews, recaps, and other website content • Assisting with social media content creation • Updating historical records and athletics record books • Designing creative materials using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) • Completing at least one office hour per week • Other duties as assigned Education Employment Eligibility: • Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student • Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Strong interest in sports (no prior playing experience required) • Creativity, reliability, and professionalism • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Occasionally lifting 25 lbs or less • Frequently lifting 25 lbs or more • Typically standing or walking • Climbing bleachers • Outdoor exposure to weather • Exposure to moving machinery • High noise environment • May have an alternative work schedule
