Overview Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapy (PRN)Location: Port Richey, FLSchedule: Weekdays, PRNPay: $50/hr Select Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient team. Treat a variety of upper extremity conditions including post-op fractures, tendon injuries, and more. Splinting experience preferred. Manage 10–12 patients per day using evidence-based care. Work alongside top hand surgeons in a well-equipped clinic. Be part of a growing national hand therapy program. Minimum 1 year of hand therapy experience required. Responsibilities • Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers. • Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care. • Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff. • Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Qualifications • Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited school of Occupational Therapy and state OT License required • Experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedics is required • Occupational Therapists with a minimum of one yr recent hand therapy experience.
