Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Brief Description: Welding and fabrication in shop and field. General machining duties. All duties assigned by the supervisor are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Job Duties/Responsibilities: Candidate must be: • Proficient in basic electrode and mig welding, including pipe fitting and pipe welding. • Able to assemble steel structures utilizing fabrication drawing. • Proficient in basic machine shop practice • Able to work without direct supervision. • Able to work overtime when required. • All other jobs assigned by the shift supervisor. Qualifications Experience/Requirements: Required: • High School diploma or equivalent • 5-Years of manual and CNC Machining experience • Must complete Mechanical Apptitude Test Preferred: • 2-Year verifiable work experience in industrial environment • Completion of a recognized welding program or machine shop program Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
