Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to assist in establishing our QA initiatives and team members. This position will help build out our QA processes with a particular focus on implementing automated testing. This is a unique opportunity to shape quality assurance and the testing processes of our team. Responsibilities • Implement QA processes, standards, and best practices from the ground up • Design and build-out the testing infrastructure and framework • Create comprehensive testing strategies aligned with business objectives • Implement automated test suites and continuous integration pipelines • Create documentation for QA processes and procedures • Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality practices into the development lifecycle • Evaluate and recommend QA tools and technologies Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing • Proven experience with Playwright testing suite • Experience building testing frameworks and infrastructure from scratch • Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, .NET, or Python preferred) • On-site 5 days a week in Fort Wayne, IN Preferred • Proficiency in Ascential Test • Experience with version control systems (Git) • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and implementation • Expertise in testing methodologies (TDD, BDD) • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools • API testing experience • Performance testing knowledge and experience Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
