Help bring critical power delivery and water infrastructure projects to life through expert construction scheduling and project planning. QISG is seeking a Construction Scheduler/Planner with 4+ years of experience and strong Primavera P6 expertise to support complex EPC, Design-Build, and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) projects.
You’ll develop and maintain CPM schedules, establish project baselines, track progress, forecast completion dates, and identify critical path risks and resource constraints before they impact delivery. Working closely with Business Development, Project Managers, and construction teams, you’ll translate project scope into actionable schedules, evaluate schedule impacts, and support mitigation strategies that keep projects aligned with milestones, budgets, and execution goals. This is an opportunity to contribute to diverse infrastructure projects and influence project outcomes from proposal development through construction and completion.
What You'll Do
•
Develop and maintain Linear Schedule Method (LSM) and Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, integrating cost- and resource-loaded plans that drive project efficiency.
•
Collaborate closely with engineers, estimators, procurement specialists, suppliers, and trade contractors to create, baseline, and update project schedules using industry-leading software.
•
Align project schedules with financial goals by connecting the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to the Financial Breakdown Structure (FBS).
•
Produce cost- and resource-loaded schedules, generate cash flow curves, and track earned value metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
•
Support project teams in optimizing work sequences, improving productivity durations, and proactively managing risks.
•
Perform schedule analysis, time impact analysis, and maintain thorough documentation to ensure project transparency.
•
Champion short-interval scheduling practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.
•
Contribute to high-visibility projects that directly impact infrastructure growth and community development.
What You'll Bring
• 4+ years of experience developing resource- and cost-loaded schedules, with a strong understanding of earned value metrics.
•
Advanced Proficiency in Primavera P6 required.
•
Familiarity with TILOS and Acumen software is a plus!
•
Direct experience working with design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams on heavy construction, power delivery, or water infrastructure projects.
•
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
•
Self-starter with strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
