Job Description Performs the essential duties and responsibilities and the primary functions of a Surgical Aide. Tasks are performed independently under the supervision of licensed staff. Independent judgment is negligible, although analysis of standardized data by established routine is required. SHIFT AND SCHEDULE Full Time, Monday-Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS • Completes routine duties in a timely manner. • Anticipates needs of health care members and actively reduces turnover time. • Promotes Hospital efficiency to include returning equipment and supplies to appropriate locations. • Demonstrates a willingness to assist other personnel to transport and maintain order on the unit. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • High School graduate/GED or intellectual equivalent. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
