What You'll Do As a Material Handler, you'll help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped safely by: • Operating saws and other equipment to cut, process, package, and prepare material for shipment • Safely operating forklifts, Raymond side loaders, and overhead cranes to move steel throughout the warehouse • Loading and unloading trucks using material handling equipment • Pulling, staging, and assembling customer orders • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Working closely with your team to meet daily production and shipping goals What We're Looking For We're looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Manufacturing, warehouse, or fabrication experience • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn • Experience using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools • Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, side loaders, saws, or packaging equipment (preferred but not required—we'll train the right candidate) • Basic math and computer skills • Ability to read blueprints or shop drawings is a plus Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout an 8-hour shift • Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds • Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and steel products Why Join CTI?
