WE'RE HIRING: Entry-Level & Experienced Crane & Hoist Service Technicians Technicians PAY: $26.00 - $50.00+/hour | Full-time LOCATION: Gadsden, Alabama Service Area | Technicians who live within approximately 30 miles of Gadsden, Alabama will be considered locally assigned technicians supporting customers throughout the Gadsden service area. This is a field-based position, so technicians are primarily dispatched from their local area or home rather than reporting to an ACECO branch each day. Candidates who live outside the 30-mile Gadsden service radius may still be considered; however, those positions will be classified as travel-based field service roles and will require a greater level of travel based on customer locations, project schedules, and business needs. TRAVEL: Travel expectations are based on where you are located. Gadsden-area field service technicians (within approximately 30 miles): Your primary responsibility will be supporting local and regional customers within the Gadsden service area. Periodic overnight or extended travel outside the territory will still be required when customer or business needs require additional field support. Depending on workload and project demands, travel assignments may total up to approximately 3 months within a 12-month period. Travel-based field service technicians (outside the 30-mile Gadsden radius): This is a travel-based field service position. Technicians should expect to travel regularly to customer locations and project sites based on business needs rather than being assigned primarily to the Gadsden local service territory. Travel may include multi-day or extended assignments and will vary throughout the year based on customer demand, outages, installations, and project schedules. Depending on workload and project demands, travel assignments may total up to approximately 9 months within a 12-month period. ACECO covers approved business travel expenses in accordance with company policy, including applicable lodging, airfare, rental vehicles, and other approved expenses. Qualifying overnight assignments also receive the applicable travel premium and $70/day per diem. Local Service Technicians may volunteer to participate in the on-call rotation to support urgent customer needs. On-call participation is voluntary and compensated in accordance with company policy. Two Paths — One Team We are hiring Crane & Hoist Service Technicians at two experience levels. Whether you're an experienced crane technician ready to step into a high-autonomy field role, or a skilled industrial tradesperson looking to build a career in crane service, we have a place for you. Both experience levels are field-based positions.
