Pay rate: $35.00 hourly Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities • Gastronomy Tube (g-tube) Care and Feeding • Take vital signs and administer medication • Trach Care (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this) • Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection • Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety • Document on nursing notes every visit • Be a support to clients and their family members • Monitor and report changes in client care and/or behavior Qualifications • Minimum of one year experience in home care • Active CA.
