Au-delà de rejoindre une entreprise, c'est donc une aventurehumaine que nous vous expliquerons de VIVRE. #LI-YA1 Missions About the Role We are looking for an experienced SSTL – ECU Safety (Sub-System Technical Leader) to support automotive ECU development projects within a Stellantis environment The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical leadership of the ECU Safety perimeter, ensuring system requirements, functional safety, architecture, development, integration, and validation activities are properly coordinated throughout the development lifecycle The position combines ECU system engineering, functional safety, technical leadership, and supplier coordination, with strong interaction across system, software, hardware, validation, and vehicle teams Key Responsibilities • Lead the technical development of the ECU Safety perimeter from requirements definition through validation and vehicle integration • Analyze and manage system and ECU technical requirements • Ensure requirements consistency, completeness, traceability, and technical feasibility • Define and maintain the ECU system architecture and HW/SW interfaces • Coordinate Functional Safety activities according to ISO 26262 • Contribute to safety analyses and safety concepts: HARA, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, FSC and TSC • Ensure proper implementation of safety requirements and safety mechanisms within the ECU • Coordinate activities between System, Software, Hardware, Safety, Validation and Vehicle Integration teams • Lead technical reviews and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle • Manage technical interfaces with suppliers and internal Stellantis stakeholders • Monitor ECU maturity, technical risks, open points and development milestones • Support ECU integration, validation, fault analysis and troubleshooting • Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, timing and technical objectives Qualifications Languages • Professional proficiency in English • Professional or intermediate proficiency in French Profile • Strong technical leadership and system-level thinking • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage technical risks and complex ECU issues • Good communication and stakeholder management capabilities • Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams • Strong ownership and ability to drive technical topics to closure Compétences Technical Skills • Strong experience in ECU / Embedded Systems development • Good knowledge of Functional Safety – ISO 26262 • Experience with: • System & ECU Requirements • Functional Safety Requirements • HARA / FMEA / FTA / FMEDA • FSC / TSC • Safety Mechanisms • HW/SW Interfaces • Requirements Traceability • Good understanding of E/E Architecture • Knowledge of automotive communication networks: • CAN / CAN FD • LIN • Automotive Ethernet • Experience with V-Cycle automotive development • Knowledge of ASPICE development processes • Experience in ECU integration, validation and technical issue resolution • Experience with requirements and project management tools such as DOORS, JIRA or equivalent Qualités • Previous experience within a Stellantis project/environment • Experience as SSTL, System Technical Leader, ECU Technical Leader, System Engineer or Functional Safety Engineer/Leader • Experience with safety-critical automotive ECUs • Knowledge of Stellantis development processes and milestones • Experience coordinating Tier-1 suppliers • Knowledge of diagnostics and fault management: UDS / DTC • Experience with HIL and ECU validation environments
