Responsibilities: • Apply lawn care applications (fertilizer, weed control, pest management, etc.) safely and effectively • Perform routine mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain beautiful lawns • Conduct irrigation service and repairs — including startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting sprinkler systems • Assist with seasonal services, including snow removal during the winter months • Operate and maintain lawn care equipment in good working condition • Provide friendly, professional service to all customers A well-qualified applicant will possess the following traits and skills: • Possess or have the ability to pass pesticide certification test within 60 days of employment • Data entry/database software experience preferred but not required. • Must be coachable in a fluent & dynamic operational environment. • Attention to detail is essential. • Ability to diagnose and recommend treatment for a wide range of lawn and irrigation issues. • Stand, bend and walk for more than 8 hours a day in various weather conditions. • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members via written and verbal applications. • Technical & mechanical aptitude towards lawn care & irrigation systems, equipment and processes. • An individual who is trustworthy, punctual and reliable with flexibility to work seasonal hours, which may include long days based on production schedules and weather variables. • Customer service skills and abilities to produce additional sales opportunities. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
