Job Description
Want a career that keeps you moving, gives you independence, and makes a real impact in your community? As a Fuel Delivery Driver with Central Valley Ag, you’ll spend your day on the road—not behind a desk—delivering the fuel and propane that keep local farms, homes, and businesses running.
This is more than a driving job. You’ll manage your routes, build relationships with customers, work with specialized equipment, and develop valuable skills in fuel and propane service. If you’re safety-minded, dependable, and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the long-term career you’re looking for.
At CVA, you’ll be part of a farmer-owned cooperative that values its employees, invests in their development, and provides competitive benefits and opportunities to grow.
What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)
• Safely deliver propane, gasoline, diesel fuel, oil, and bulk oil to CVA customers
• Plan and complete daily routes safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Operate a tablet to manage routes, deliveries, and customer information
• Build strong relationships by providing dependable, professional customer service
• Complete sales tickets and required delivery, inventory, billing, and DOT documentation
• Track fuel, propane, and oil tanks placed at customer locations
• Monitor and assist with physical inventory counts for propane, gasoline, and diesel bulk tanks
• Assist customers with questions and help resolve service concerns
• Support sales efforts while following established credit policies
• Provide basic propane services, including operating a trencher, installing propane lines, replacing regulators, and performing leak tests
• Inspect and maintain delivery trucks, equipment, warehouses, and fuel storage facilities
• Keep vehicles, equipment, and facilities clean, safe, and in good working condition
• Coordinate with billing, delivery, ordering, and accounts receivable teams
• Follow all CVA safety policies and applicable OSHA and DOT requirements
• Assist other departments and locations as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• CETP propane certification and knowledge of applicable OSHA and DOT requirements
• Strong commitment to safe driving and work practices
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with vehicles and equipment
• Ability to plan routes, stay organized, and complete deliveries on schedule
