Job Responsibilities: • Provide leadership and direction for the assigned area of meat employees. • Provide training to meat cutters in the overall operation of the meat department. • Ability to provide customers with superior service. • Ability to effectively communicate via phone call, text message, and email in a timely manner. • Cuts and trims meat according to company specifications. • Maintains sanitation control according to company policy. • Ability to operate meat department equipment such as band saws, grinders, wrapping machines, power jacks, knives and cutters. • Ability to perform basic math skills. • Removes outdated or damaged products from meat cases. • Fills in meat cases when required. Requirements: • 18 years of age • Heavy work-exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and 25-50 pounds frequently • Ability to stand for 5 hours Benefits • Insurance Package after 60 Days of Employment • Paid Time Off after 1 year of Full Time Service Pay Rate: $19-$28.50 per hour based on experience Hours: 40 hours a week
