The primary responsibility of this position is to safely transport equipment and materials to and from company locations and customer jobsites. Record all stops, including fueling and breaks. • Maintain and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as defined by each customer and delivery location. • Maintain the truck and trailer; keep clean and in proper working order. • Review all paperwork and the GPS to determine most efficient routing and loading of materials and equipment. • Secure all materials and equipment using DOT approved securement methods and procedures. • Safely deliver products to their destination. Safely unload and familiarize the customer with the operation of the equipment. • Get required signatures on paperwork before leaving site. • Ensure vehicle is parked and secured at the end of the day, and all paperwork is processed according to company policies and procedures by the end of each shift. • Note and advise your supervisor of any deficiencies in the equipment that need correction prior to vehicle being used for the next shift. Qualifications • Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers’ License • 1-2 years documented commercial driving • Knowledge of the safe use and operation of trucks, trailers and other vehicles. • Knowledge of D.O.T. and D.M.V. Rules and Regulations, preferred • Reasonable written and verbal Communication skills. • Ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds. • Ability to occasionally work outside in extreme outdoor conditions. • Must be able to travel out of area and overnight if required This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
