Overview Repair and maintain building and equipment at the Kent facility. The pay range is between $ 28.00 per hour and $ 36 per hour. Responsibilities • Monitor and maintain the safe operation of all warehouse and office equipment, such as: warehouse dock doors, dock levelers, HVAC, lighting and warehouse racking. • Assist other Facilities mechanics as needed for various maintenance projects. • Various remodeling projects, including repairing sheet rock, painting, framing. Carpenter skill set a plus. • Monitor electrical equipment through warehouse and office work spaces. Repair or replace electrical equipment as needed for normal and safe operation. • Monitor and maintain the safe and normal operation of the facilities fire sprinkler system with assistance from outside service vendors. • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned including welding and fabricating projects. Qualifications • HS Diploma or Equivalent required. • Qualified individual will present well-rounded skills in maintenance, welding, electrical, plumbing and woodworking. • Three (3) to five (5) years industrial experience preferred. • Ability to operate power tools, use hand tools and drive forklift is required. • Must have a valid driver’s license. • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test. • Ability to lift 100 lbs. at times • 80% of time on feet. • Provide own hand tools.
