The Role The Nurse Educator is responsible for the coordination of educational programs for the hospital and resident home employees. This role has some autonomy and will partner with hospital leadership to develop quality educational programs and lead hospital and department specific education that supports patient care standards and nursing practice. The Nurse Educator is responsible for development of policies, procedures, and education plans that are in compliance with standards of practice ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care throughout the organization. The Nurse Educator should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be proficient with creating training modules and presenting to groups.
