Dallas Aeronautical Services Job Description Job Title: Stockroom Clerk Department: Purchasing / Material Control Responsibilities • Compiles data & records concerned with quantity, cost and type of material received in stock or issued • Requisitions needed supplies; verifies material received to determine irregularities in order • Prepares inventory records and reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts • Prepares data for computer input and works with computer printouts • Uses computer and material/production tracking software (i.e. CORRIDOR) • Maintains organized stockroom with proper labeling of and accurate documentation for all parts • Physically issues parts quickly, accurately and with proper paperwork • Completes all necessary inventory transactions in timely fashion Qualifications • High school diploma required, 1-3 years of experience preferred • Skilled in MS Excel & Word • Proficiency in CORRIDOR desired but if not, training will be provided • Must be flexible to changing tasks and workload. Must be willing to work overtime when required to support Assembly requirements and goals • Must be a team player, show initiative and display a willingness to learn • Strong communication skills required Physical Requirements: • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time. • Lift up to 30 lbs.
