This position works closely with nursing team members to provide excellent dining experiences for residents in Skilled Nursing and Personal Care. Essential Duties • Ensure residents receive meals according to ordered diets • Deliver hot foods, cold foods, and beverages to designated service areas • Assist cooks with portioning and preparing cold food items • Stock service kitchens with food, supplements, and supplies • Work collaboratively with nursing team members during meal service • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in all work areas • Check, record, and report refrigerator and freezer temperatures • Assist with dishwashing, including collecting, washing, unloading, and storing dishes • Assist with receiving and inventory as needed • Perform other duties as assigned to meet facility needs Qualifications • Basic knowledge of safe and sanitary food and equipment handling practices • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions • Professional appearance and adherence to hygiene and dress standards • Customer-focused, dependable, and detail-oriented • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Fairmount Homes
