Charles Gabus Ford is seeking a Service Technician who will provide our customers with exceptional service, has a strong background in automotives, and works well in a team. Ford makes customer service a top priority so candidates must be friendly, have a positive attitude, and maintain a professional appearance. Responsibilities: • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership • Test drive vehicles and testing components/systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc…) • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Sign on bonus: • $500 after 30 days • Additional $500 after 60 days Requirements: • ASE Certification • Basic Computer skills • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment • Must be at least 18 years old to apply • Have a valid Iowa Driver’s License and clean driving record • Will submit to a drug and background screening prior to employment • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Benefits: • 1-week Paid Vacation (after 1 year) • 12 days Paid Time Off (after 6 months) • Health, Visions, and Dental Insurance • Tenure!
