Works with a team in an aerospace manufacturing office and plant. Degreed Engineer or equivalent experience with an emphasis in manufacturing processes. This position is very hands-on. A background in CNC machining or toolmaking is preferred. Full-time, day-shift position. Responsibilities: • Conceptualize manufacturing process options for CNC machining of complex structural aircraft parts • Develop machining sequence plans and conceptual fixture designs for efficient machining of aluminum, titanium and stainless steel structural aircraft parts • Perform research, design and development of manufacturing process including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment • Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products • Work on, manage and lead several large projects simultaneously from start to finish The applicant must possess good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work with others in a team environment, and be highly self-motivated. Applicant should have a forward-thinking mindset, thrive on challenge, and be able to think “outside the box”. Strong work ethic is a must.
