Item Entry Specialist (MUST BE A REGISTERED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN) Location: Bonita Springs, FL Department: Specialty Operations Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday-Friday Position Summary As an Item Entry Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day pharmacy and specialty operations by ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining patient and prescription records, and assisting with workflow processes across multiple departments. This position requires a highly organized individual who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, tech-savvy, and thrives with minimal supervision. [Job Key Responsibilities · Accurately enter and update patient, prescription, and program information in internal systems. · Review records for completeness and data accuracy. · Maintain detailed documentation and notes to support operational workflows. · Communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners as needed. · Process requests and updates while adhering to established procedures and turnaround times. · Utilize multiple systems simultaneously to manage workload efficiently. · Identify and escalate issues that may impact service levels or data integrity. · Communicate with patients, providers, and external pharmacies via telephone to obtain, verify, and update information related to prescriptions, inventory items, orders, and account records.
