Basic Function: To perform all assigned duties in the yard to assist with quality customer service. Responsibilities: • Load company vehicles in accordance with delivery invoices to include lifting and carrying merchandise, lumber and building materials. • Prepare customer orders to include retrieving merchandise and materials from storage areas in accordance with customer invoices. • Operate fork lift to load, unload and stock merchandise as needed. • Put away product and keep lumber piles neat and organized • Adhere to all approved company policies and procedures. • Report customer complaints to Manager or Officers. • Inventory goods and notify Manager of shortages and needed goods to be ordered. • Perform other related duties as assigned. • Removal & Shoveling of Snow from material piles and yard during Winter Months Skills: • Customer Service • Basic Math Skills • Basic Reading Skills • Lifting up to 100 pounds Education/Training: Experience: • Leadership experience helpful • Prior lumber yard experience required • Prior building materials experience required Certifications/Licenses: Fork Lift Full Time Benefits: • Paid Time Off • Company Paid Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance • Short Term Disability Insurance • 401K plan with company match • Discretionary Bonuses • Health Savings Account • Employee Discounts Position Reports to: Store Manager Pay Range is based on Total Compensation Monday - Friday 7:00 - 5:00pm Rotational Saturdays 7:00 -12:00pm 45+
