We are seeking Welding Machine Operator on all shifts to join our team at the Wesanco Smyrna TN plant! Schedule and Shift: • 1st 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday • 2nd 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday • 3rd 11:00pm - 7:30am Sunday - Thursday Hourly Pay Rate $21.00: • 2nd shift includes $1.00 shift differential • 3rd shift includes $1.50 shift differential Job Summary: Job Responsibilities: • Operates a resistance welder. • Learn the Wesanco welding processes which includes changeovers, setting weld schedules, dressing weld tips, changing weld tips, quality checks, and production and downtime reporting. • Use of hand and power tools to use during changeover and to dress weld tips. Requirements: • Follow all safety and PPE requirements. • Be on time and ready to work. • Excellent verbal communication skills with an aptitude for operating machinery. • Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process. • Attention to detail. • Ability to perform repetitive tasks. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. • Forklift Certification preferred or be willing to be trained and certified on the forklift. • Spot welding experience a plus. • (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. • Must be able to clear drug screen and background check. • Must have reliable transportation.
