FOOD RUNNER Located in the heart of the West Loop, Wicker Park, and River North, Parlor’s menu features fresh, local ingredients for brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night service. Our ideal food runner is responsible for overseeing all carry out orders in addition to food running for in house customers at our tables. This will also involve double checking each food order to ensure accuracy. We are looking for passionate industry professionals. RESPONSIBILITIES • Getting food to the proper table at the right time • Clearing dirty plates and silverware as well as polishing • Stocking the kitchen expediting area • Assisting chefs with orders • Packing up takeout orders • Responding to other guest needs • Maintaining a clean working area REQUIREMENTS • 1+ years of customer service experience • Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed • Aloha POS and Open Table knowledge is a plus! • A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff • Must have a great sense of hospitality and understand how it impacts on our business • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service Your resume will be reviewed by a member of our team, and we’ll reach out to you directly if there’s a fit.
