In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding experienced truck drivers who align with our safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities • Source qualified CDL-A truck drivers through job boards, referrals, social media, and industry platforms (e.g., Tenstreet, Driver iQ) • Screen applications and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications, safety records, and experience • Schedule and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with qualified candidates • Guide drivers through the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screening, and compliance documentation • Maintain accurate candidate records and provide regular reporting on recruitment activity • Build strong relationships with prospective and active candidates, creating a positive and professional recruiting experience • Stay current on industry hiring trends and competitor activity to refine sourcing strategy • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company hiring standards • Support weekend driver needs, including arranging hotels or transportation when necessary • Collaborate with operations, safety, and leadership to ensure recruiting aligns with fleet goals Qualifications • 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry • Familiarity with DOT regulations and commercial driver compliance standards • Experience using Tenstreet, Driver iQ, or similar recruiting platforms • Proven ability to source, interview, and hire qualified drivers in a high-volume environment • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal teams • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or after-hours to support urgent driver needs • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining compliance and fairness in the hiring process Benefits • Competitive pay • 401(k) with company match • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off • Flexible scheduling • Fast-track growth potential • Onsite gym access • Quarterly team celebrations and recognition in the transportation industry Why Paul Logistics?
