We are looking for individuals experienced in logistics and transportation to add to our team who will contribute to achieving our mission. Key Responsibilities: • Pick up inventory at manufacturer’s site and return to hub terminal on a daily basis • Has overall responsibility for unloading and loading materials from trailers to warehouse • Has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse • Verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance • Maintains complete paperwork as needed • Operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner Requirements: • Must pass DOT required drug and alcohol tests, MVR and Criminal Background Screenings • Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience (required) • Valid Class A CDL License • Previous driving and warehouse inventory experience required • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work with heavy furniture • Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, and climb as required to secure a load • Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in an outdoor environment • Reliable attendance and flexibility in hours • Detailed record keeping • Organized Job Type: Full-time Metropolitan Warehouse is an equal opportunity employer.
