Title: GDU Herdsperson Description: Responsible for daily care, health, and maintenance for all pigs at designated work areas. Hours: 7 days a week with flexible hours during the day. Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus we offer an excellent benefits package Essential Job Duties: • Daily pig care includes feeding, watering, and herd health. • Maintenance routine such as cleaning dryer vents, greasing anchor bearings and other maintenance tasks, as necessary. • Keeping detailed and accurate health records • Understanding and following HFI’s biosecurity programs. • Loading and Unloading animals • Responsible for alarm calls • Pressure washing and composting.
