The hospitalist shall provide the very best high-quality, cost-effective care to the patients assigned to the service through approved referral sources. Qualifications: • Hospitalists must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Wisconsin and maintain good standing on Black River Health’s medical staff • Physician Hospitalists must be board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics or Family Medicine. Board-eligible physicians must obtain dual board certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics or board certification in Family Medicine within one year of employment. • Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) • Hospitalists must maintain current ALS/ACLS (Advanced Life Saving/Advanced Cardiac Life Support), and PLS/PALS (Pediatric Life Saving/Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Your Future Starts Here At Black River Health, your work makes a real difference in the lives of families right here at home.
