McCaffrey's Markets - Meat Department Job Summary – Meat Department Associate - Part-Time • Weigh, wrap and price meats and related products • Portion and place products on designated trays with the highest standards of presentation • Display product in cases as directed by manager • Keep track of the need for wrapping materials, labels, etc. • Maintain equipment. Communicate temperature failure of cases to manager. • Maintain good housekeeping of work, display and storage areas. • Provide prompt and courteous service to customers • Follow all company policies • Observe all state health regulations and all safe food handling procedures • Perform other duties as assigned by management Job Requirements: Minimal computer skills or minimal knowledge of computerized digital scales. Physical Demands: • Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty • Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time • Work in cool area for extended periods of time. • Lift, push or pull cases/containers of product up to 50 pounds. ** Must be available to work 30-39 hours per week.
