Job Summary – Baker Reports to: Bakery Manager Function: To produce all bakery goods of the highest quality Essential Responsibilities and Duties: • Work up and mix up products from recipes or prepared mixes • Set ovens, bake product and monitor the baking process • Operate and maintain all department equipment • Determine quantities of ingredients needed to order • Unload and verify deliveries • Perform all functions of bakery clerk when necessary • Constantly monitor temperatures in freezer and cooler areas • Follow all company policies • Perform other duties as directed • Must be 18 years of age or older Physical Demands: Work safely around ovens Stand on feet, bend, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty Work in freezer and/or cooler for short periods of time Lift cases/containers of product up to 40 pounds FT Benefits: Medical / Vision / Prescription Dental 401K with Company match Paid Vacation / Holidays Company paid Life Insurance Company paid Short / Long Term Disability Voluntary Benefits Available 20 % Employee discount
