What You’ll Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline, or an associate’s degree (2-year) with experience from accredited program (ABET/EAC) • 5+ years’ work experience as a Mechanical Engineer • Experienced with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD) • FE Exam, or EIT desirable • Proficient in the application of standard and advanced engineering principles, practices, and procedures • Has sufficient knowledge to supervise others • Breadth and depth of experience to enterprise engineering problems • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish tasks • Able to quickly recognize and fix common engineering problems based on experience, including review and critique of others' work • Able to lead discipline specific teams and influence project direction and progress • Viewed as a technical expert in the department • May serve as a mentor/coach for developing engineers • Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred. • Travel required up to 25% including overnight and international Disclaimer: JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.
