You would be responsible for the safe preparation of prep and food items following safety & sanitization guidelines and the Baker’s Crust Bagel specification guidelines. You would also maintain a clean, sanitary, safe and positive, team-oriented work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service. Kitchen Staff Responsibilities: • Follow all recipes, healthy and safety guidelines, and food handling procedures and standards. • Manage time for food safety and to allow for guest requests. • Safely operate and maintain cleanliness of equipment. • Set up, restock, organize, clean and maintain work space. • Perform other assigned duties from the management. • Engage with guests when appropriate with a positive and hospitable attitude. Kitchen Staff Requirements: • Attention to detail in all aspects of preparation, execution and dedication to working as a team towards one goal. • Ability to listen and communicate effectively. • Consistently maintain proper uniform standards and a positive attitude. • Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment, including but not limited to: knives, slicer, oven, stove, mixer. • Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and work in confined spaces. • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
