SUMMARY: The position of Shipping/Receiving Supervisor (Frozen/Cool) will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day shift activities of the warehouse frozen/cool side, including general warehouse functions, inventory tracking and support of production. This position will report to the Shipping and Receiving Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Management of inbound receipts and outbound freight. • Review Bills of Lading and orders and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules. • Inventory accuracy and efficient management of warehouse area. • Assist in maintaining accuracy of inventory levels. • Supervise the daily operations of Shipping and Receiving staff in an efficient and cost-effective manner. • Interface with scheduling and production activities. • Oversee the implementation of the Shipping and Receiving Dept. SOP’s. • Maintain and support on-going training programs. • Ensure that all employees maintain a clean and safe working environment following all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. • Generate Bill of Ladings for shipments. • Perform inventory audits as needed. • Pull finished products as required to fill orders, as well as rotating products Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities Supervisory Responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: • Minimum of 3 years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Computer proficient • Detailed knowledge of the entire manufacturing process • Ability to problem solve, multi-task, and communicate effectively with both subordinates as well as senior management Required Skills/Abilities: • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.
