V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Construction Engineer in our Woodridge, IL office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world. And, as part of our Construction Engineering team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America. Here's what you'll do: • Document progress, conduct inspections, and collaborate with Resident Engineers to maintain project integrity. • Oversee and manage municipal construction projects from inception to completion. • Develop and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates. • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction. • Prepare and present project reports and documentation. • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and codes. We're looking for: • A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred. • Ideally, 2 to 10 years of related experience. • EIT or PE is a plus • Proven track record of successfully managing municipal construction projects. • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
