Preferred applicants will have at least two years of related experience, or a degree/certification related to behavioral health. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide services to address the wants and needs of people with developmental disabilities, which may include: - Supporting personal goals - Administering medications - Planning and preparing meals - Assisting with activities of daily living - Transporting to and from day program and community outings - Reinforcing therapies, including speech, behavioral support, and physical therapy - Ensuring all needs are addressed in a respectful manner with dignity and personal choice - Completing and maintaining required documentation on a web-based system Qualifications: - Ability to be certified in enhanced behavioral intervention - Two years of related behavioral experience preferred - Degree/certification related to behavioral health preferred - Valid driver's license - Must be at least 18 years of age - Current automobile insurance - Ability to pass registry and background checks - Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed - Ability to use verbal and physical intervention to redirect and/or to complete an emergency safety intervention with a person who is physically aggressive or self-abusive Shift needed: 7am-3pm 3pm-11pm 11pm-7am
