Suite Attendant - Alamodome POSITION: Suite Attendant DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage, Premium REPORTS TO: Suites Supervisor & Premium Manager FLSA STATUS: Part-time Hourly, Non-Exempt SUMMARY • Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Suite Attendant for Legends Global Alamodome. The Suites Attendant maintains organization and cleanliness of suites and assists guests in accordance with Legends Global Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting, and overall ambiance in the suite • Verify and set-up all pre-event orders • Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself • Take and place event day food and beverage orders • Set-up and check on event day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event • Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils as needed • Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite throughout the event • Obtain signatures from the host on charges in a timely manner • Clear all items from the suite and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes in suite • Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions and check out with supervisor or manager • Must adhere to the Legends dress code which includes wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes • Other duties may be assigned. QUALIFICATIONS • Ideal Candidates must have strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor. They must be self-motivated and be able to stand for long periods of times. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE • Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position required • Previous supervisory experience preferred • Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Legends Global Service Standards • Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training • Knowledgeable in the operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues. • Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to communicate with staff and to prepare event plans • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead • Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
