ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Process and manage incident reports and documentation • Serve as lead for all compliance inspections (OSHA, Fire, EPA, etc.) • Investigate accidents and determine countermeasures. • Maintain OSHA recordkeeping requirements and safety training records. • Coordinate compliance tests including Medical Clearance, Hearing Tests, Air and Noise monitoring. • Order safety supplies and provide appropriate PPE to employees. • Generate monthly accident and safety assessment reports. • Conduct safety training classes. • Lead the Safety Committee. • Assist with new employee orientation training. • Issue disciplinary warnings and counsel employees. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Environment, Health, and Safety or equivalent experience preferred, but not required; CSP preferred, but not required. • Bachelor’s Degree and/or certification preferred, but not required. • Workers Compensation knowledge and work experience preferred, but not required.
