Mesa seeks a P&C Engineering Associate with 3 to 6 years of design experience. The ideal candidate possesses the necessary skills to read, understand and help produce Protection & Control design drawings (Single Line, AC/DC Schematic, Elementary and Connection diagrams, Front & Rear View Layout/Elevation drawings, Bills of Material, etc.). The candidate will be able to: • Produce connection diagrams based on AC/DC schematics and skilled at using AutoCAD. • Be inquisitive, able to investigate solutions to problems before seeking help from others and must have an eye for detail. • Good work habits and regularly perform self-checks on all design work prior to submission to checkers. • Proficiency at using Microsoft Excel and Word is a plus. Experience in blueprint design fabrication is also a plus. • P&C design experience relative to HV/MV substations and/or generation plants is a plus.
