Hello and allow me to introduce myself. I am Matt Currid, Veteran, Certified PMP, graduate of MIT’s 21’ Executive MBA program and owner of MATRIX PMO, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Project Management Organization. I know it’s not typical for the owner of a company to write a job posting, but MATRIX isn’t your typical project management company, and this job opportunity has particular significance. Let me begin by saying that I appreciate you checking out our website and learning more about MATRIX. Most importantly, thank you for your service and the sacrifice you made for our country. When our clients ask me about the characteristics of a military veteran and why I believe they make great employees, my answer is this; veterans are loyal and committed to excellence. Furthermore, we as veterans are well adept at analyzing and solving problems. From day one, we have been trained to do exactly that. It is instinctive for a Veteran to establish the root cause of a situation, determine the best course of action, establish a plan, and execute that plan. MATRIX operates with an understanding and appreciation for military principles that I believe differentiate us from other similar organizations. With over $600 million in turnkey PMO contracts and over 11 million supervised project man hours; MATRIX is known within the energy industry as a company with the highest standards of work and an undisputed reputation. We provide our employees with resources, training and benefits they need to succeed personally and professionally. No matter what stage you are in your career, newly separated from the military or having spent years in your industry, I encourage you to submit your resume and start a conversation with MATRIX. If the right job opportunity isn’t available today, it is likely it could be tomorrow, and we can share several resources to prepare you for a successful career at MATRIX. Like the military, at MATRIX there is always an action plan – whether it is for training, maintenance, or a mission (project). Below are a few key job opportunities within our organization that we provide for our clients. Upon receiving your resume, the MATRIX recruitment team will review and determine if any active opportunities align with your qualifications and/or career goals.
