Average Hourly Wage with Tips ($15-25 hourly) Role and Responsibilities Our food expeditors are primarily responsible for ensuring a smooth workflow remains between the kitchen and the wait staff. As an Expeditor, you will be tasked with: • Ability to multitask in a fast environment. • Ensure orders are being prepared in the proper order. • Ensure each plate is appropriately garnished and presentable for the guest. • Run food if the wait staff is busy. • Make sure sauces and garnishments are filled at the start and end of shift. • Break down any containers and help clean the line at close of business. • Ensure the line stays clean. Qualifications and Requirements • Good written and verbal communication. • Know Department of Health standards. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. • Ability to stand at least 4 hours per shift. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Be a team player and work well with management and servers.
