Tool Room Attendant Location - California, MD Requirements: • Inventory, store, and distribute hand tools and other equipment including support equipment used in aviation. • Maintain tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage. • Inventory tools and support equipment by tracking the distribution of tools and users in a database or other system. • Maintain tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage • Orders new tools and equipment or repairs tools as needed • Knowledge and understanding of aviation tools and equipment • Understanding of CNAF 4790.2 series Tool Control and IMRL preferred • Able to work under moderate supervision. Qualifications: • Experience in an industrial environment, familiar with heavy machinery, special tools, calibrated tooling, test equipment, common hand tools, and support equipment. • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate • Requires 1-3 years of related experience • Must be able to obtain and maintain base access.
