Avionics Technician I Location - California, MD Requirements: • Perform aircraft maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, and modification of aircraft electrical/avionics systems • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications, and special tools and test equipment. • Must be familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of electrical/avionics systems • Perform the troubleshooting and rewiring of complex avionics/electrical systems and subsystems discrepancies and modifications • Use blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and manufacturers' drawings and sketches in the performance of assigned duties • May be required to perform Maintenance Operational Checks (MOCs) • Complete maintenance documentation accurately using OOMA, and required forms, as required by job assignment. Qualifications: • (2) years' experience in a primary MOS from any of the following OccFlds: 6323 Aircraft Maintenance, equivalent skill designation from other services or possess valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification • Must show proficiency in the use of OOMA within 90 days after assignment • High school diploma or equivalent • Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Must have and maintain a Secret clearance and base access. • USN/USMC experience preferred *Must be US Citizen to apply* **Contingent upon contract award** The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
