Radiologic Technologist – PRN/Casual Jasper Memorial Hospital | Monticello, Georgia Jasper Memorial Hospital is seeking a dependable and patient-focused PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team. This position is ideal for a technologist who enjoys working in a community hospital setting and providing personalized, high-quality care to patients. Key Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. • Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety. • Operate radiographic and related imaging equipment safely and effectively. • Verify patient identification, physician orders, and appropriate examinations prior to performing procedures. • Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles. • Evaluate images for proper positioning, technical quality, and diagnostic acceptability. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of procedures performed. • Assist physicians and clinical staff with imaging procedures as needed. • Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients throughout examinations. • Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental policies and procedures. • Maintain equipment and promptly report equipment concerns or malfunctions. • Participate in departmental quality assurance and performance improvement activities. • Maintain required competencies, certifications, and continuing education. • Assist with other Radiology Department responsibilities as needed. Qualifications • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. • ARRT certification or registry eligibility, as applicable. • Must meet applicable requirements for practice in Georgia. • BLS certification preferred or obtained within the required timeframe. • Previous hospital or diagnostic imaging experience preferred. • Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital environment.
