The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in ethnic foodservice sales and customer development. This role will include maintaining customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, coordinating sales activities, and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate should be motivated to learn the foodservice industry, build relationships, and grow into increased sales responsibilities. Primary Roles & Responsibilities • Support the development and execution of sales plans to achieve company goals. • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and distributors. • Assist in developing new accounts and identifying potential business opportunities. • Prospect for new customers and support outreach and follow-up activities. • Assist with customer presentations, product samples, pricing, and sales materials. • Support customer promotional programs and sales initiatives. • Help implement distribution strategies and identify opportunities to expand product placement. • Respond to and help resolve customer questions related to ordering, shipping, pricing, and payment. • Communicate customer needs and opportunities to internal teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing. • Maintain accurate customer and sales information and provide timely updates to management. • Monitor sales activity and customer progress and provide recommendations to support account growth. • Participate in customer visits, trade shows, food shows, and other sales-related activities. • Travel as needed to support customers, distributors, and sales initiatives. Desired Qualifications & Traits • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. • 2–5 years of sales, customer service, ethnic foodservice and distribution, or related experience preferred. • Asian/ethnic food industry experience is a plus but not required. • Strong interest in developing a career in sales and business development. • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. • Strong communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking. • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team. • Positive, energetic, and customer-focused attitude. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM and sales tools. • Ability to travel.
