Red Rock Pharmacy is seeking both part-time and full-time Pharmacy Technicians to become a part of our team at our Denver/Aurora location. As a member of our team, you will receive technician education and training to prepare you for taking the licensing exam and certification test. Our technicians in training receive direct, on-the-job knowledge as well as guaranteed, continued employment upon becoming fully licensed.** We are looking to hire both part-time and full-time technicians to handle a variety of tasks on our dispense line (which we refer to as Production). Because we are closed-door, there is little to no direct interaction with patients. Production techs are tasked with filling prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency in unit-dose packaging, occasionally preparing non-sterile and sterile compounds, managing inventory, and preparing for future orders. Responsibilities: • Prepare, packaging, and label medications in blister cards and vials • Prepare non-sterile and sterile compounds • Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies • Utilize our software to change, update, and print labels • Measure dosage of medications and perform simple calculations • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy Qualifications: • Previous experience in long-term or retail pharmacy preferred • Strong attentional to detail • Good work ethic • Sharpened ability to prioritize tasks Our Benefits: • Generous Paid Time Off plan for full-time employees • Health, Dental & Vision insurance as well as Life, AD&D, and Short-term Disability options. • Vast network of people, information, and resources to help you achieve your professional goals.
