HealthRIGHT 360 is looking for a Full-Time Cook with hands-on cooking skills and a diverse knowledge of food. You will be working in a community-based kitchen with female residents while teaching basic cooking skills performing Daily meals, using a general production menu and cooking methods. Join our team of dedicated Chefs and cooks sharing life skills and performing life saving services. Key Responsibilities The Full-Time is required to have knowledge of standard foods and culture friendly meals with a variety of cooking skills. The ability to multi-task time management skills professional roll model status knowledge of a professional kitchen including safe food handle and sanitation standards. Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Education/Knowledge: • Three or more years of experience in a professional kitchen. • Must have a high level of sensitivity and compassion with the client population; you will truly make a difference in the community as a role model. • In compliance with the CA Department of Public Health's mandate, all employees must be able too provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination (including boosters). • Medical and religious exemptions are available. • We will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. • 3 or more years of "back-of-the-house" hands-on cooking skills. • Knowledge of diverse foods. • Must have a high level of sensitivity and compassion and ability to work with a challenged population. • Must be a team player with professional standards and patience.
