Quakertown Veterinary Clinic | Quakertown, PA Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is growing our Small Animal team and is looking for caring, motivated Veterinary Assistants for both daytime and overnight shifts. What You will do As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll help support the medical team while ensuring our patients receive attentive, compassionate care. Daily responsibilities may include: • Assisting veterinarians and licensed technicians during examinations and medical procedures • Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats for treatments and diagnostics • Preparing patients and equipment for exams, procedures, and surgery • Collecting laboratory samples and performing basic in-house testing as directed • Administering medications and treatments under veterinary supervision • Taking diagnostic radiographs following hospital protocols • Preparing prescription medications and assisting with refill requests • Recording patient information, treatments, and charges in the medical record system • Communicating with clients in a professional and compassionate manner • Helping maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area Schedule We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with a variety of schedules, including: • Day shifts • Evening shifts • Overnight shifts • Select holidays Additional compensation may be available for qualifying overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.
