Job summary: Seeking an experienced Floor Technician Supervisor to join our operations project team on 1st shift + weekends. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a skilled floor care specialist who has proven supervisory experience. You will lead a team of floor technicians across commercial and industrial clients and uphold our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Wage - $18.00 per hour upon Directors approval based on experience Responsibilities: • Perform and supervise all floor care services including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, carpet cleaning, scrubbing of hard surface floors (VCT, LVT, terrazzo, marble, wood, etc.). • Train, mentor, and supervise a team of floor technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to company standards. • Floor projects can include nights, and weekend work as required by client needs. • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through professional communication and proactive problem-solving. • Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on floor care equipment. • Complete required time sheets accurately and on time. • Assist with general cleaning tasks when necessary to meet project deadlines. Qualifications: • Minimum 3-5 years of professional floor care experience. • At least 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a janitorial, or cleaning services environment. • Strong knowledge of floor care chemicals, equipment operation, and restoration techniques. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle may be utilized). • Ability to pass background check Required skills: • Leadership and team management abilities. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 50lbs), and operate heavy equipment for extended periods. • Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends based on client schedules.
