The Security Guard will respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • BLS Certification • CPI Certification • Strong observational skills and attention to detail • Physical capability to perform patrol duties, including standing and walking for extended periods • 2 years' experience as a Security Officer in a hospital setting Preferred Qualifications: • BHT Certification preferred • Hospital/Psychiatric experience preferred • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively • Ability to walk and climb stairs • Skilled in operating portable radio devices • Able to enforce security policy and procedures Skills: The Security Guard utilizes keen observational and situational awareness skills daily to identify potential security risks and respond appropriately.
